I've always loved Aswad's Love Fire and was soo excited to find Damian Marley and Nas were riding the rhythm with 'Land of Promise' featuring Dennis Brown in their album Distant Relatives. I very rarely listen to rap, and in fact it's quite rare for me to listen to anything other that reggae/ska/dub, but Distant Relatives combines rap and reggae in a way that no album I've heard has done before... the lyrics are so very powerful and I can't imagine Bob would be anything but proud of his son for helping to keep the Marley messages flowing. I know it's not reggae as such, but if you were able to play something from Distant Relatives on the Update one day I would be so very grateful! Keep up the good work Joshua! Great version of the song. Also Pepper dubbed love fire into their song Stormtrooper from their album Kona Town, its a little more on the punk side but its not too bad. Pepper is a good band for the younger generation, just another way to this track timeless. Respect Once again brother great show,
