Georgie Fame did a lovely version of "Sitting in the Park" in 1967. Not reggae, more like the Billy Stewart original, but very apt given his strong links with Jamaican artists over the years.

JB,
Love those Reggae to Soul podcasts. A fantastic idea, and a timely reminder that Jamaican music has always evolved out of a dialogue with black American music, from the 40s, right through to today's music.

Respect,

Lord Jones of London

I asked for part deux and got it, so I had to say thanks for the versions galore. When you can, please keep rollin with the "Soul to Reggae" ball... very cool to see artists influencing one another.

PS i read other posts about the intro, thinking it could use some more music. The rest is A grade.
