The program begins with some of Joe Gibbs’ earliest work and moves chronologically, right up to Steely & Clevie’s 2002 tribute album called Old to the New. #38 – Twiggi Interview and Feature

Twiggi

Reggae Rhythm Update is celebrating its first full year online with two big announcements. The first is an interview with one of my all-time favorites, Twiggi. She’s an incredible singer and there’s nobody in reggae than harmonizes like her. Her voice has always done something to me. Maybe it will do the same to you. Twiggi talks about working with Wayne Wonder, Buju Banton, Beres Hammond, Marcia Griffiths, Tony Rebel and others at the Penthouse studio, singing with Mikey Spice on an Earth Wind & Fire cover, her latest gospel recordings, and other topics. The second announcement is that Ernie B’s Reggae, the world’s premier reggae mail order company and distributor, has come together with Reggae Rhythm Update in a sponsorship. It’s a perfect fit. Since starting this program, I’ve had Ernie B’s in the back of my mind as the one company I’d like to work with. They offer quality and if I may be so bold as to say, so does Reggae Rhythm Update. Enjoy this show, and I look forward to our next year together.

Twiggi – Praises
Twiggi – Never Wanted You
