#3 - My Number One
Last night I revisited the 1978 film Rockers which stars drummer Leroy “Horsemouth” Wallace and a supporting cast of other top reggae musicians, singers, dee-jays, and producers of the day. Gregory Isaacs appears as himself but his character moonlights as a thief. Seeing Gregory in the prime of his career was a joy to watch and his performance in the film inspired me to put together a set of music on the “My Number One” rhythm including his original cut for producer Alvin Ranglin.

I’ve just discovered your podcasts Joshua… great stuff.
I’ve listened to the first three so I’ve plenty more to keep me happy at work today!

Another good selection, some better than other(my view)
G.I, my number one,I.W, Nah draw nil,Man Professor Groovey Dub stands out well above the others,This tune (groovy dub) reminds me a little of them Channel one type production back in the early eighties (THE BACK GROUND DRUM).I like Tanya Mullings, very good Singer, this rhythm, for her was average,
keep playing the music, this is what life`s about, good memories comes flowing back,
you are the number one selector,on the podcast.
love and respect.
Bawl head dread.
